Map every part of the property
Confirm where guests arrive, where the ceremony happens, whether cocktail hour is indoors or outdoors, and how far the reception room is from those spaces. Separate locations may require dedicated sound systems.
Coastal wind and ambient noise affect microphones and speaker coverage. Weather protection and an indoor backup plan should be agreed on before the wedding day.
Protect the timeline with access
Cape properties can have narrow roads, stairs, distant loading areas, seasonal traffic, and strict setup windows. Share venue access details early so production time is built around reality.
A larger lighting or multi-room package may require several hours of access before guests arrive.
Create one continuous experience
Pre-ceremony music, clear vows, cocktail selections, reception introductions, dinner pacing, and dancing should feel connected even when they happen in different spaces.
A written proposal should identify travel, lodging if applicable, staffing, sound coverage, weather requirements, enhancements, and the exact scope for the property.
