Yes. For direct DJ KYD & Co. bookings, Kyd Sanchez is the principal DJ and personally leads the music, hosting, and event experience.

Both options are available. You may inquire directly with DJ KYD & Co. or request Kyd through 617 Weddings. Availability, packages, pricing, contracting, and included services may differ, so ask Kyd which path best fits your celebration.

Kyd personally reviews inquiries and responds within 24 hours. Submitting an inquiry does not reserve the date.

After availability is confirmed, you will receive a written proposal and agreement. A signed agreement and an initial payment of 25% reserve your date. The remaining payment schedule and everything included are shown clearly before you commit.

We understand that plans can change. Your 25% initial payment reserves the date and is not refundable if you cancel. If a cancellation happens closer to the event, a larger portion of the contracted balance may be due because planning is underway and the date is harder to rebook. One postponement may be transferred to an available date within 12 months, subject to the timing, availability, and any changes in services, location, or pricing. Your agreement provides the complete schedule before you reserve.

Popular New England dates can book well in advance. Inquire once your date and general location are known. Shorter-notice celebrations are welcome when availability allows.

Yes. The planning process can organize your timeline, formalities, wedding-party details, pronunciations, must-plays, do-not-play list, special songs, cultural traditions, and other production notes.

Yes. The couple decides how open the request policy should be. We receive requests graciously and, when a song fits your preferences and the energy in the room, we work it naturally into the celebration. We never make a guest feel dismissed.

Yes. We use clean, radio-edited music for weddings and events. Any additional music standards for a family, school, company, or venue can be confirmed during planning.

No. Our professional music library and core event systems do not depend on venue Wi-Fi or an internet connection to perform.

Yes. Kyd provides polished hosting in English and Spanish. The language balance is planned around your families, guests, traditions, and comfort level.

Yes. Kyd can make introductions and announcements in English and Spanish, with the language balance planned around both families, the venue timeline, and the couple's preferences.

Yes. Depending on the selected package and venue layout, production can include dedicated ceremony sound, microphones, cocktail-hour sound, and reception coverage.

Yes. Kyd coordinates key introductions, formalities, music cues, timing, sound placement, setup access, and relevant venue requirements with your professional team.

Yes. DJ KYD & Co. carries $2 million in liability insurance. A certificate of insurance can be provided when required by the venue.

Physical backup hardware is carried on-site, and music libraries and planning information are backed up. Equipment is prepared and checked before the event.

DJ KYD & Co. is backed by the experienced DJs of 617 Weddings and Kyd’s own brother, DJ Tavo. If a genuine emergency prevents Kyd from performing, the team can help coordinate qualified professional coverage using the event plan, music direction, and production details already prepared for your celebration. DJ KYD & Co. accepts all standard forms of payment. Your written proposal and agreement explain the payment schedule and available payment instructions before you reserve.

Yes. A W-9 can be provided when requested by a company, planner, venue, or other authorized client representative.

No. A vendor meal is appreciated during a long event day, but it is never expected or required.

Load-in, setup, sound checks, cable safety, operation, and breakdown are planned around venue access and handled outside the booked performance experience unless an unusual requirement is identified in your proposal.

Yes, when suitable power, weather protection, safe access, and sound requirements can be arranged with the venue and event team.

Yes. DJ KYD & Co. serves Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Connecticut, Cape Cod, Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, and select destinations beyond New England. Applicable travel, ferry, or lodging requirements are disclosed in the proposal.

Additional coverage and enhancements may be arranged in advance and may be available on the event date. Options include photo booth, uplighting, monogram, dancing on clouds, audio guestbook, and after-party coverage.

Kyd and the professional event team wear polished all-black attire for weddings and events unless a client or production brief requires something different.

We follow and respect venue sound limits. Kyd coordinates with the venue team, monitors the room, and adjusts sound coverage and speaker placement to protect both the guest experience and the venue's requirements.

The final planning review is completed two weeks before the wedding. We confirm the timeline, music, names, pronunciations, formalities, ceremony cues, vendor coordination, and production details so the team can prepare thoroughly.
