Your culture travels with you
Latin favorites, R&B, hip-hop, classics, and cross-generational dance music, shaped around your families. English and Spanish announcements feel natural, never like a second program.
Florida destination weddings
A Florida wedding, personally led by Kyd Sanchez. Based in Massachusetts and available for select Florida celebrations by proposal, DJ KYD & Co. brings English and Spanish hosting, open-format mixing, and thoughtful production planning to the destination you choose.
Latin favorites, R&B, hip-hop, classics, and cross-generational dance music, shaped around your families. English and Spanish announcements feel natural, never like a second program.
Start with the Celebration approach: pre-ceremony arrivals, ceremony cues and microphones, separate cocktail sound, reception mixing, and room lighting. Destination scope is confirmed in your proposal.
Coverage, staffing, transport, accommodation, equipment logistics, and any venue charges are itemized before you reserve. New England starting prices are not all-inclusive Florida quotes.
Kyd is your principal DJ, with event support scoped to your venue and production. We confirm travel buffers, backup equipment, and an event-specific contingency plan before the wedding.
The setting shapes the setup
A waterfront ceremony needs more than a speaker pointed toward the ocean. We review wind exposure, microphone placement, seating depth, power, and the distance to your cocktail and reception spaces. Wireless and battery-powered sound can help where a traditional outlet is not nearby, subject to the agreed equipment plan.
For a resort ballroom, we check vendor access, loading appointments, elevators, room turnover, sound limits, and where lighting can be installed. Screens and short-throw projection need suitable light levels, sightlines, and clear floor space; trussing requires venue-approved placement and installation.
For outdoor plans, we confirm a sheltered backup location, who makes the weather decision, and when the move happens. A tent is not a lightning-safe shelter: your venue’s safety plan must identify a substantial building or other safe shelter. See the National Weather Service’s outdoor-event guidance.

Ask about your Florida date ↗Planning notes
We are based in Massachusetts and travel for select Florida weddings. We do not have a Florida office. Date availability, travel, and venue requirements are reviewed before accepting your event.
Tell us about your venue in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Orlando, Tampa Bay, Sarasota, Naples, the Florida Keys, or another Florida destination. Each request is reviewed individually; listing a location is not a claim of past performance there.
Your written proposal confirms entertainment hours, ceremony and cocktail coverage, staffing, equipment, transport, lodging, setup access, and any additional production costs. We discuss who arranges each item and the payment and travel-change terms before an agreement is signed.
Uplighting, trussing, short-throw projection and screens, dancing on the clouds, and open-air Salsa or 360 booth experiences can be discussed. Availability depends on transport, venue approval, suitable space, power, and the agreed destination production plan.
We begin with your date and location, then meet remotely to review music, culture, guest count, and coverage. Your planner and venue help confirm access and production details. Final wedding planning is completed two weeks before the event.
