The songs and moments you would truly miss if they were not included.
Wedding music planning
You do not need to select every song. Give Kyd clear boundaries, meaningful choices, and the story behind your guests—then let live mixing connect it all.
The songs and moments you would truly miss if they were not included.
Favorites that communicate your taste while leaving room to read the room.
Firm boundaries that remain protected, including guest requests.
Live decisions made inside your preferences, never instead of them.
Build the soundtrack
Choose music for guest arrival, wedding-party processional, the final entrance, traditions or readings when appropriate, and the recessional. Confirm the exact artist or version, starting point, and cue person.
Describe the atmosphere rather than building a four-hour playlist. Share a few artists, genres, eras, cultural influences, and songs that capture the feeling you want.
List every person in order, provide phonetic pronunciations, select one song or separate songs, and decide whether entrances should feel elegant, energetic, or understated.
Confirm the exact recording, preferred starting point, full-song or edited length, ending, and whether guests or family will be invited onto the floor.
Every dance is optional. Parents may be separated, divorced, deceased, blended, or represented by someone else. Choose the people and wording that genuinely fit your family.
Use this for songs you would be disappointed not to hear. A focused list gives your DJ direction while leaving enough room to respond to the guests.
Add favorites that help explain your taste but do not need to interrupt a strong dance-floor moment.
Include songs, artists, versions, line dances, explicit content, or memories that should never enter the room—even if a guest requests them.
Choose whether requests are welcome, limited, or couple-approved. Kyd filters requests through your boundaries and the direction of the dance floor.
Decide whether the last dance is private or shared with guests, the final song, the hard stop, and how the venue and photographer will coordinate the exit.
